Affected residents and businesses in the area of the equipment delivery routes should have received a postcard in the mail with information about this project and larger equipment delivery transports.  We wanted to provide a further update that the Xcel Energy Wheaton Repowering Project equipment deliveries have started this week and will continue through the weekend for the Highway 12 to 20th Street to 20th Avenue to County Highway F route.

As a reminder for those residents that use 20th Street (from Highway 12 to 20th Avenue) and 20th Avenue (from 20th Street to County Highway F) roads for travel to/from the Wheaton recycling center on Saturday, December 7, 2024 we urge an alternate route be used around the equipment delivery mapped route in order to avoid experiencing any traffic delays.
