Town of Wheaton Road Seasonal Weight Limit Update

Effective Monday, April 13, 2026 the temporary seasonal 10 Tons Gross weight (20,000#), with a maximum axle load of 6 Tons weight limits on the Town of Wheaton roads will be lifted. Signs will be removed.

Please NOTE: There are Town of Wheaton roads that will remain posted as Class B and in effect per Ordinance Chapter 42 Class B Designation for Town of Wheaton Roads. See our Road Updates page for a map of the affected roads.
