NOTICE

Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 349.16, the Town of Wheaton road seasonal weight limit restrictions will become effective on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 7:00am until further notice.  Adjustment to the proposed effective date may be considered contingent upon weather conditions.

The Town of Wheaton road seasonal weight limit restrictions for 2025 will be set at 10 Tons Gross weight (20,000#), with a maximum axle load of 6 Tons.  The seasonal weight limit restrictions apply to all Town of Wheaton roads.

This is a critical period of time for the township roads in order to avoid costly damage and we request support and cooperation for this temporary load limit. Penalties can be imposed under sec. 348.21, Wis. Statutes for violations.
