We are excited to announce that our Engraved Brick Project Phase 1 installation has been completed.
It is amazing to see the Parks Commission efforts bring this unique project to life in Wheaton Park as a way for people and businesses to connnect with the Wheaton community and further "Leave your mark in Wheaton Town Park".
The Parks Commission chose this project as a way to have a defined area in the park that could have personalization pull it all together much like when a community comes together. Baseball has been a long standing tradition in Wheaton Park for 47 years that has involved generations of kids, parents, grandparents, and businesses. So this project was added to the area next to the Lower Pavilion/Concession Building and behind Longview Field backstop.
To our park volunteers that processed the orders, picked up materials, and installed the bricks we want to say a big THANK YOU!!
Lastly, we want to say a big THANK YOU to our donors that supported this project because you jump started this project! We hope you all enjoy how you chose to "Leave your mark in Wheaton Town Park".
