The Chippewa County Sheriffs Department has received several calls on 30th Avenue semi traffic, between County Highway T and County Highway F, and requested the Town of Wheaton put a notice out to aid with informing residents.

As part of Xcel Energy Repowering project semi traffic travels loaded via County Highway F to the Xcel Energy facility. 

Once unloaded the semi traffic travels via 30th Avenue from County Highway F.  

Please NOTE:  When the semi trailers are empty the haulers are within the Town of Wheaton Class B road designation as further specified in Wisconsin Statute §348.16.
