The County Highway T Corridor Committee met on December 15, 2021. The vote was four (4) votes for Alternative 1, one (1) vote for Alternative 1B.
The City of Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, and Chippewa County need to meet in 2022 to make their decisions official.
After further reviews were completed it was determined all municipalities had to agree on the Alternative selected and voted on requiring further discussions and changes. On May 10, 2022 the Town of Wheaton Town Board approved Alternative 1 Revised 5-4-22 with requested Town of Wheaton Town Board changes. This same revised alternative has been approved by the Town of Union. Next steps are for City of Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, and Chippewa County to approve which is targeted for completion by August 31, 2022.
